Love in the Name of Christ of Bedford County is a non-profit organization that helps churches help people in need. Love INC is not a welfare program, it's a proven system that changes lives, with a love that transforms. When Church members reach out and mentor to those with needs, lasting relationships are formed with positive results for all involved.

•  To identify the existing needs that are not being met in Bedford County area.

•  To enable Christian churches and caring individuals to become more aware of these needs.

•  To assist Christian churches and their members to find effective ways to respond to these needs.

•  To be an effective out-reach ministry resource to area churches. 

Volunteer Positions Available

Board Member

All positions require completion of volunteer application, interview, and training. Information for prospective Board members may be obtained by contacting the Executive Director, Bev Patten at 814.652.0025.

Volunteer positions are available in many areas.  These include: office volunteers (paperwork, intakes, telephone), delivery (must have your own vehicle), sorting items, cleaning (ministry center and delivered items), and repair.  If you have a few hours a week to help, we welcome you.

Help Needed

Garage Sale Open

Open Tuesday and Thursday 9am-5pm beginning Tuesday, May 24th!  We are located in the Kelly Building across from the Ministry Center.

Softball Tournament

The Softball Tournament scheduled for Saturday, June 11th at Snake Spring Rec Park is cancelled.  We are working on getting it rescheduled for later this summer.
